This fall favorite will leave your pallet filled with mouthwatering spices and apple goodness! This is my go-to fall dessert that leaves my home smelling farm fresh with a hint of cinnamon aroma.
Place pie crust onto a 9" oven proof pie dish. Set aside.
Peel, core, and thinly slice apples.
Place sliced apples in a large mixing bowl. Combine brown sugar, flour, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, apple pie seasoning, nuts, and raisins.
Toss all ingredients in bowl to mix well.
Pile apple mixture into pie dish, arranging them around pie crust and pressing down to fill pie dish evenly.
Place cubed butter onto assembled apple slices while filling your dish.
Bake 20 minutes at 425℉. Then reduce heat to 350℉ for an additional 45-50 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender (insert knife in center of pie until little to no resistence).
Remove from oven. Place on a cooling rack and let cool for 2 hours. Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired.
